David Duchovny's new project is set to premiere at Sundance Film Fest.

Sundance First Looks: Olivia Wilde’s ‘The Invite,’ ‘In The Blink Of An Eye’ & Jay Duplass’ ‘See You When I See You’

As Sundance 2026 looms on the horizon, a trio of premieres are already circling the emotional core of the festival: intimate stories about fragile relationships, time, and the hard work of holding yourself together when everything else is fraying. From a dinner party in free fall to a time-spanning meditation on connection and a grief-stricken comedy writer trying to stay afloat, these three titles feel tailor-made for late-night Main Street post-screening conversations.

“See You When I See You”
In “See You When I See You,” directed by Jay Duplass and written by Adam Cayton-Holland, a comedy writer battles PTSD after the tragic death of his sister, leaning on (and clashing with) his family as he tries to find a way forward. The film stars Cooper Raiff, David Duchovny, Kaitlyn Dever, Hope Davis, Lucy Boynton, and Ariela Barer, with Fred Bernstein, Kumail Nanjiani, and Emily V. Gordon producing.

PLOT: A family facing mental health struggles and grief discovers healing and laughter through an uplifting yet touching journey together.
