Actor David Duchovny has either sleuthed out the answer to ’round-the-clock productivity or has found a way to clone himself. How else could one human lead the reboot of one of the most successful cult television shows of all time (The X-Files), write a satirical novel about pop-culture-spurting cows, record a rock album, and produce/star in a new drama, NBC’s Aquarius, all in the same year?

Excerpts From Our David Duchovny 'Aquarius' Interview
David Duchovny was involved in the music video for Beautiful Pain, and you got to guest star on Californication. That seemed like a really cool fit. How did that all come together?
I've known Duchovny for a really long time. He and I have gotten super close in the last year or so and he is one of my partners in this record label (Best Revenge Records). He produced the video and made an appearance in it. We've been working on some music together, too. He's always been passionate about music as a music lover, and he always just thought of himself as not having the ability to do it. He's so admired and envied people that could play music. He just one day decided he'd give it a shot and picked up a guitar and he really, really loves it. He's getting better and better and I've been kind of a musical guru to him over the last year or so. It's been really wonderful because he's got an amazing brain. He's a very smart, very poetic person. He's always written beautiful poetry. Now he's evolved that into more songwriting and I'm helping to adapt that into songs. We've recorded some of his stuff and it's been super cool.

Love creating music from the heart with people I love! Just produced a new song with my homie David Duchovny :) #studio #newmusic #davidduchovny
He also runs his label alongside "X-Files" star David Duchovny.
SIMONS says: "Another really interesting celerity connection is one of my partners in my record label is David Duchovny. A really good friend for a long time and he really is insanely supportive of me I have no idea even where to begin to express my gratitude to all the support he has given me. He executive produced my music video and he actually makes a cameo appearance so if you watch the video for 'Beautiful Pain' you'll see Nicole Fox who is one of America's Next Top Model winners and David Duchovny and a lot of other people."
Nick Spanos: "Here's a behind-the-scenes photo of my shoot with David Duchovny from X-Files & Californication, and Keaton Simons...for Keaton's #BeautifulPain music video."

Of course, he’s talking about Tea Leoni, and together they are one of Hollywood’s sexiest couples. Just being away from Leoni for a few days to talk about his new film “Trust the Man” in New York City gives Duchovny a serious case of homesickness.
“But I do love the fact that I made a romantic comedy where I play Julianne Moore’s husband,” says Duchovny, who actually plays Moore’s cheating hubby in the Big Apple comedy, which opens this weekend, and also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Billy Crudup.Kissing Moore on screen?
