David Duchovny sells his NYC apartment - 2021

“X-Files” star David Duchovny has listed his upscale Manhattan apartment located in Central Park West for $7.5 million.

The star of the long-running sci-fi hit first purchased the apartment back in 2012 for over $6 million.

Made up of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the home boasts panoramic Central Park views, a private terrace, and walls of windows.

The pre-war co-op unit features a private elevator landing that opens to a wide gallery entry and an expansive living area, according to the listing.

Located on the 19th floor of the Ardsley building, the corner pre-war residential is pegged as a New York classic, designed and developed by Emery Roth. It is considered one of CPW’s finest full-service white-glove buildings, with a live-in superintendent and a 24-hour doorman and concierge.

He is also the star of “Californication.”

Duchovny recently signed with Showtime to develop his recently published novel, “Truly Like Lightning,” into a series for the cable network.

A New York native, Duchovny and his wife at the time, Téa Leoni, sold their Malibu retreat in 2008 to Mel Gibson for $11.5 million.
