The Craft: David Duchovny and Michelle Monaghan about navigating a blended family

When it was first announced that there would be a continuation to the 1996 cult-classic film, The Craft, most weren’t convinced that it would have the same impact that its predecessor did. But to the surprise of many, THE CRAFT: LEGACY has seemed to resonate with today’s generation, and rightfully so. It’s vibrant and colorful presentation is a stark contrast to the original but it still tackles important societal issues (toxic masculinity and consent) while also respecting the traditions of witchcraft, and making sure to empower all women.

For the release of THE CRAFT: LEGACY, Nightmarish Conjurings’ Shannon McGrew had the immense pleasure of speaking with both David Duchovny (The X-Files) & Michelle Monaghan (Gone Baby Gone) who play Adam and Helen, respectively, where they discussed everything from navigating a blended family, the challenges of a new relationship, and what they hope viewers take away from the film.

Official Synopsis: THE CRAFT: LEGACY is a continuation of the cult hit The Craft (1996), in which an eclectic foursome of aspiring teenage witches get more than they bargained for as they lean into their newfound powers. WATCH THE MOVIE HERE

THE CRAFT: LEGACY, written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, also stars Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale, On the Basis of Sex), Gideon Adlon (The Society, Blockers, The Mustang), Lovie Simone (Selah & The Spades, Greenleaf), Zoey Luna (Pose, Boundless), and Nicholas Galitzine (Cinderella).
