Additionally, David Duchovny's Californication — returning for a seventh season — will now be paired with Nurse Jackie, both scheduled for April debuts.

David Duchovny should start a coin jar to pick up all the pennies and nickels he’ll be getting from home video residuals, as both The X-Files and Twin Peaks are reportedly coming to Blu-Ray late this year or early next.
The Digital Bits have the details, where they say that in spite of no firm announcement during San Diego Comic Con International last week (where there was a twentieth anniversary panel), Fox is working to get The X-Files prepped for a 2013 release to capitalize on twenty years of the cult hit and all the attendant publicity and fan goodwill that such an event brings with it.
When he sat down with me at the Television Critics Association (TCA) 2013 Summer Press Tour to discuss his upcoming NGC film Killing Kennedy, Rob Lowe also touched on some of his other projects, including his return to the hit Showtime comedy Californication. The series, which will air its seventh season on Showtime in 2014, is currently shooting in Los Angeles, and Rob Lowe told me that he has completed the filming of his guest-starring role.
“Yes!” said Lowe excitedly, laughing at the mention of the show and the Eddie Nero character. “I just finished [shooting.].
The Showtime comedy starring David Duchovny finished airing its sixth season this past April, featuring guest stars such as musicians Tim Minchin and Marilyn Manson (the latter appearing as himself), and also Maggie Grace (Lost, Taken). With a seventh season in-the-works for early 2014, Amazon.com has now begun taking pre-orders for the 12 episode collection of Californication - Season 6on DVD. This listing is prior to the official Showtime/Paramount announcement for the item, though, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, at $45.99 $41.39 (you can, of course, lock in your copy at a discount if you order it using the above link). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, nor is there cover art (just temp art from the show's most recent promo campaign). Stay tuned, though, and we'll update you further on this title, just as soon as we find out more!

Gillian Anderson wanted to set the record straight about a comment she made during Comic-Con this year. She dropped by "The Tonight Show" to clear up any misunderstanding.
At Comic-Con, Anderson reunited with her "The X-Files" co-star, David Duchovny, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show. While there, she told the press that the pair once shot a sex scene that never made it to TV. As it turns out, this never happened.
“I made a joke about it, but it isn’t true. There wasn’t one. We did have sex, because we had a child," Anderson said of their characters. "We didn’t film the process of making the child.”

COMIC-CON: How We Pulled Off The X-Files 20th Anniversary Panel
By Franklin Avenue: Last year Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and his girlfriend Holly were talking with my TV Guide Magazine bosses, and the topic of The X-Files came up. Vince reminded them thatThe X-Files was about to hit its 20th anniversary, and Holly suggested a panel -- perhaps at Comic-Con. The truth is out there. And here's the backstory on how we wound up putting together what I believe, not so humbly, was one of the highlights of this year's Comic-Con.
"The X-Files" star Gillian Anderson (Agent Dr. Dana Scully) and her "X-Files" co-star, David Duchovny (Agent Fox Mulder), is coasting along, with the seventh season of "Californication" set to debut next year on Showtime.
The two actors got together yesterday at Comic-Con in San Diego to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their famed sci-fi show along with "The X-Files" creator Chris Carter, and writing alums from the show, including "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan and Howard Gordon ("24," "Homeland").

Hollywood is a small world and la singer-songwriter Keaton Simons knows all about it. His stepfather is actor Eric Roberts, which makes "Pretty Woman" star Julia Roberts his aunt.
He also runs his label alongside "X-Files" star David Duchovny.
SIMONS says: "Another really interesting celerity connection is one of my partners in my record label is David Duchovny. A really good friend for a long time and he really is insanely supportive of me I have no idea even where to begin to express my gratitude to all the support he has given me. He executive produced my music video and he actually makes a cameo appearance so if you watch the video for 'Beautiful Pain' you'll see Nicole Fox who is one of America's Next Top Model winners and David Duchovny and a lot of other people."
Rob Lowe will reprise his guest starring role as eccentric, combustible film star Eddie Nero in one episode of the upcoming seventh season of the hit Showtime comedy series "Californication." "Californication stars and is executive produced by David Duchovny in his Golden Globe®-winning role as the hedonistic writer who fights to balance the demands of his libido, his unpredictable career, and his ex-girlfriend/muse Karen. He’s aided (and sometimes abetted) by best friend/agent Charlie and Charlie’s bawdy wife Marcy. The seventh and final season will find him joining the writer’s room as his never-released film “Santa Monica Cop” now becomes a television series of the same name. He’s frequently riled by his boss, the show’s old-school executive producer Rick Rath (guest star Michael Imperioli), and his fellow writing team members, including Goldie (guest star Mary Lynn Rajskub) and Alonzo (co-star Alonzo Bodden). But he’s thrown by the reemergence of old friend Julia (guest star Heather Graham), whose arrival causes chaos in Hank’s already hectic life, and with his on-off relationship with Karen (Natasha McElhone). Meanwhile, Charlie (Evan Handler) and Marcy (Pamela Adlon) grapple with the aftermath of their reunion and an enticing offer from her ex-husband, Stu Beggs (guest star Stephen Tobolowsky). Rob Lowe, Brandon T. Jackson, Oliver Cooper and Mercedes Masohn will also guest star. Tom Kapinos is the creator and executive producer."
