Happy Birthday David Duchovny! (David Duchovny knows that Duchovny Central exists! 😉 )

Happy Birthday to the Inspiration Behind This Site

Happy Birthday, David!

This year, I had the chance to meet David at SpaceCon and tell him about this blog. What happened next was something I honestly never expected. 🤯

He told me that he had "heard about the site" and even mentioned that he was aware it had been online for quite some time. 💥WOW

For a few seconds, I was completely shocked. After so many years of running this fan site, hearing David acknowledge that it actually exists was an unforgettable moment and one I still can’t quite believe happened. I'm still in shock 😂😂😂

David Duchovny knows that Duchovny Central exists!

I still have some photos from that day waiting to be posted… so stay tuned 😄

Wishing David a wonderful birthday and many more years of new and exciting projects. ⭐

David Duchovny Doesn't Believe in Peaking Early

On his fourth album, late-blooming songwriting, and why he'd rather have a catch than take a walk

There's a moment near the end of my conversation with David Duchovny where the whole episode quietly reorganizes itself around one image: two gloves, a ball, and a father and son who hadn't had a catch in almost forty years. Reminds me of the story of my dear friend and former boss Mark Chernoff.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start where we started — with the radio.
