Amanda Holden has revealed plans to launch her acting career in the US.
The Britain's Got Talent judge, who has had presenting gigs on CBS, wants a role in Showtime's Californication, alongside David Duchovny.
"I've been watching the box set of Californication for a while and I'm completely hooked. I don't know how I didn't start watching it earlier," Holden told the Daily Star Sunday.
"I'd love to do that show if the opportunity came up. Something along the lines of Desperate Housewives would be perfect for me. I'd have a lot of fun.
"Most of the shows I want to be part of are American ones. I'm already out there a lot as it is, so hopefully it will happen."
Holden, who is currently filming the new series of Britain's Got Talent, also expressed an interest in a role on Coronation Street.
