People Magazine: One last thing with David Duchovny - June 2014

On the most recent issue of People Magazine. (June 9, 2014). David Duchovny, who isn't much of a cook (but can make a mean sandwich!) chatted with PEOPLE this week about "one last thing" ...
The actor, 53, stars in the final season of Californication, airing Sundays on Showtime.

Last meal I made
It was back in the Stone Age! I don't think it counts as cooking, but my daughter [Madelaine West, 15] and son [Kyd, 11, with actress Téa Leoni] like my sandwiches.

Last thing I lost
I lose everything. Last night I went to dinner and almost lost my driver's license. I was taking cash out to pay the valet, and I just happened to hear the click of the license hitting the ground. It would have been gone forever.

Den of Geek: Interview With Californication's Oliver Cooper

As Californication heads toward the home stretch, we spoke with Oliver Cooper about playing Hank Moody's son and the finals days on set.

When Project X producer Todd Phillips was casting what would become the surprise hit of 2012, he was looking for young, unknown actors to create an authentic party scene to couple with the film’s point-of-view shooting style. Phillips found a rookie actor, Oliver Cooper, to play Costa, one of the instigator of the wildest party ever captured on film.
Since making his film debut in Project X, Cooper has been slowly building up his acting résumé, landing a small role in another Todd Phillips picture, The Hangover Part III, and working alongside Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck in the 2013 crime drama Runner Runner. These days, Cooper has found a home in another star-studded ensemble, after being cast as Hank Moody’s oddly rambunctious son, Levon, in Californication

David Duchovny 'Aquarius' "highest episodic payday for an actor in a new series"

Inside an article of The Hollywood Reporter about top talent lawyers, there is a interesting mention of David Duchovny and the upcoming tv series Aquarius

Hollywood's top talent lawyers reveal their mentors, how they dress for success and the biggest tantrums they've witnessed.

Peter Nelson
Why he matters: "He made David Duchovny one of the richest cable actors (thanks to Californication's  seven seasons) and just negotiated for him one of the sweetest network deals. A source says the pact for Aquarius, NBC's Charles Manson crime drama, is the highest episodic payday for an actor in a new series. Other clients: Allison Janney (back on TV with Mom), director Baltasar Kormakur (shooting Everest), Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and oh, yeah, Peter Jackson."

Dress Like Karen van der Beek from Californication

Karen, played by Natascha McElhone, is Hank Moody's soulmate and baby mamma in Californication.

She's pretty much the epitome of the California babe, Venice hipster mum mixing vintage maxi-frocks, owner of the best collection of sunglasses and neck scarves and general wearer of great casual staples. It’s all about slouchy shirts, jeans, hats, scarves, fun accessories, and really, anything that drapes and has that amazing casual look about it. Aiming for simplicity is sometimes nice. It doesn’t look so forced and it’s always generally appreciated by people. Love her look? because Hank Moody sure loooooooves Karen!
