David Duchovny says he doesn't count days or months much, but this truth is out there: He's entering his 25th year of playing FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder.

After nine seasons of the original show, two feature-film spinoffs and a limited-series continuation, "The X-Files" returns to Fox again starting Wednesday, Jan. 3. The 10 new episodes pick up threads left by the stories that aired in 2016, including the sighting of an alien spacecraft by Mulder's long-skeptical partner Dana Scully (still played by fellow series staple Gillian Anderson) and the search for Mulder and Scully's son.

PHOTOS: The X-Files Season 11 first look: Mulder and Scully swap places!

For a show about experiences that can’t be quantified, The X-Files isn’t lacking numbers: 208 (episodes), two (movies), one (Speedo). But the most significant might be 10 — as in, the 10 new episodes now filming in Vancouver. After ratings for 2016’s six-episode revival soared to UFO-worthy heights, the sci-fi drama will return in early 2018, reuniting David Duchovny’s believer and Gillian Anderson’s skeptic for another run of out-there cases. Along with a first look at the new episodes, series creator Chris Carter gave EW classified intel on what to expect from the 11th season.

The truth is out there and this time around it comes in the form of an audio story. Mulder and Scully are diving back into The X-Files in a new audio series from Audible called The X-Files: Cold Cases, based on the Season 10 graphic novels by Joe Harris and Chris Carter. The X-Files: Cold Cases was adapted by Dirk Maggs (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) and stars the familiar voices of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny as they reprise their roles as Scully and Mulder. Also returning to the story are favorites Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi), the Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis), and the Lone Gunman (Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, and Bruce Harwood). The story is set after the second film, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, where we pick up with Mulder and Scully in hiding—giving more insight into what exactly happened between the two iconic characters between the film and 2016 revival.

For the last few years, the popular Funko Collectible brand has been dominating the geek market. What once used to be a hard to find POP! the collectible brand is now sold at 711 and CVS. That is not to say the brand is over saturated by any means. Funko is always looking at the next big license and is constantly fresh on variety (I never find the same pop twice these days).
