X-Files: Spoilers for Episode 10x03 written by Darin Morgan “Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster”

Question: The first day of filming for The X-Files revival was a whirlwind of spoilery goodness, but since then things have been pretty quiet. Please tell me you’ve got a crumb you can toss to us philes. We want to believe! —Hayley

Ausiello: The scoop is out there right here: The Darin Morgan-penned and -helmed third episode bears the title “Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster,” and it centers on a nondescript man by day/scurry-ass beast by night.

The X-Files: Mulder & Scully on EW cover and stories from the set - July 2015

They’re heeeere! David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have reuinted as Mulder and Scully for the X-Files revival series, and EW was first on the scene, getting the scoop as cameras rolled during the very first week of production.

On an abandoned farm on the outskirts of Vancouver B.C., we found paranormal detectives Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) investigating the curious case of a possible alien abductee (played by Annet Mahendru of The Americans) at the behest of a most curious ally, the host of a conservative talk show (Community’s Joel McHale). Of course, the last time we saw our heroes (the 2008 feature film The X-Files: I Want To Believe), Mulder and Scully were out of the bizarre-adventures business. He was living on the fringe, she was a doctor working at a Catholic hospital; they were sometimes lovers who just wanted the weird world to leave them alone. Much has changed for them since then.

X-Files Revival on Fox: Are We Getting a Sequel to the Season 4 Classic 'Home'?

They say you can’t go “Home” again. Well, they clearly have never met Mulder and Scully.

There are early indications that the second episode of Fox’s limited-series X-Files revival may be a sequel of sorts to the seminal, celebrated Season 4 outing “Home,” TVLine has learned exclusively.

For starters, Episode 2 of the six-episode continuation is titled “Home Again.” What’s more, the writer-director of the episode is Glen Morgan, who just so happened to pen the the original “Home” with fellow X scribe James Wong.

Still not convinced the two outings are somehow connected?
