David Duchovny pays tribute to D’Brickashaw Ferguson with his dog Brick

“The X-Files” star David Duchovny and his dog, D’Brickashaw, named after retiring Jets great D’Brickashaw Ferguson, gave the offensive tackle a tribute on Monday.

“Congratulations, D’Brickashaw! This is your namesake right here, named after you,” the actor says in a video on Twitter with his canine companion. “Thank you for all the years of your great playing . . . I wish you luck.”

Duchovny’s mutt isn’t the only one whose handle’s been inspired by Ferguson’s first name. Jets owner Woody Johnson calls his youngest son “Brick.”
